WDR Pro opera attraverso la cattura di frame alternati utilizzando diversi tempiodi esposizione. Un processore di segnale di immagine (DSP) utilizza poi un sofisticato algoritmo per combinare le prozioni con l'esposizione ottimale di questi 2 frame per creare un frame composito che mantiene i dettagli sia della aree scure che delle arre chiare della immagine che il sensore sta digitalizzando.
H.264 Compressione del futuro
La comnpressione H264 è un modo molto più efficente e permette di utilizzare la larghezza di banda a disposizione con un più alto rapporto di compressione.
Gli standard attuali sono MJPEG e MPEG-4 per la videosroveglianza IP ma la nuova tecnologia H264 presto prenderà il loro posto grazie alla superiore efficenza nella comopressione.
L'H264 è uno standard di compressione video dalle alte prestazioni che permette una compressione molto maggiore rispetto ai M
JPEG o MPEG-4, riducendo drasticametne la dimesione dei files e non intaccando la larghezza di banda.
Con una riduzione che può atrrivare addirittura al 90% della dimensione di un file , ad esempio una immagine da 2 MB. può essere compressa fino a 20KB con l'H264 o richiedere il 50% di banda in meno o di spazio su HD se comparato ad un MPEG4. Tutto questo senza intaccare la qualità delle immagini ma con meno banda e meno spazio occupato.
L'H.264 è pertanto ideale e indispensabile per le telecamere di videosorveglianza megapixel.
Se invece consideriamo una larghezza di banda fissa con la compressione H264 si può trametttere un flusso a risoluzioni più elevate rispetto all MJPEG el MPEG-4. Per esempio con la stessa larghezza di banda alla comprezzione H264 si può trasmettere uno stream video da 2 MP(1600x1200) di risoluzione ma con MJPEG solo uno
stream in CIF (352 x 288) e con l' MPEG-4 uno stream da1.3MP (1280x1024). Quindi ne risulta che l'H2645 migliora la visione dei fimamti senza richiedere aumenti di banda.
